What are the duties of municipal guards?
Basic tasks of the Municipal Guard involve:
- maintaining public order in public places (e.g. prevention of fights, drinking alcohol in public places, destruction of third person property, etc.);
- traffic control and organisation;
- cooperation with the organizers and other services to maintain public order during some public events;
- escorting intoxicated persons to a Sobering Station or a place of their residence if their behaviour is offensive or poses a threat to the life and health of others.
